Care During Your Hire
Please handle the garment with care throughout your event.
- Avoid wearing heavy perfumes, body oils, bronzers, or products that may stain delicate fabrics.
- Be mindful when dining, celebrating, or dancing to prevent spills, fabric pulls, or snags.
- Dresses must not be altered, hemmed, or permanently adjusted in any way.
Damage, Stains & Repairs
Minor Wear & Tear:
Small marks, loose threads, and light makeup transfer are generally covered under standard hire care.
Significant Damage:
Charges may apply for:
- Tears, rips, or major pulls
- Stains that cannot be removed
- Water damage, drink spills, or excessive makeup
- Broken straps, zips, or closures
- Irreparable damage rendering the dress unhireable
If the garment is returned in a condition where it cannot be hired again, a replacement fee may be charged (up to the full retail value).
Late Returns
To avoid disruption to the next booking:
- Late returns may incur a daily late fee.
- Missed returns may result in an additional hire charge.
Security Deposit & Cleaning
Security Deposit – $200
A refundable security deposit of $200 is required for all dress hires.
This amount is fully refunded once the dress is returned on time and in acceptable condition (allowing for standard, minor wear).
Postage – Approx. Cost
Postage for standard dress hires is approximately $40.00-$50.00, which covers:
- Express Post delivery to you, and
- A pre-paid Express Post return satchel for you to send the dress back
This ensures fast, trackable postage both ways and a smooth, hassle-free return process.
If the return satchel is lost, the customer must purchase a replacement ($20) or cover the cost of returning the dress via
Express Post at their own expense.
Larger Dresses (e.g., “Mila” gowns)
Larger gowns that require a larger shipping box will incur additional postage charges, depending on size and weight.
These items do not include a return satchel — customers must organize and pay for Express Post return postage using the provided box.
